Description
Durham Tech's Human Services & Public Safety pathways are hosting a College & Career Fair for students interested in serving their community through public service. This event will take place on October 21, 2025, at the college's Northern Durham Center (NDC). During the fair, students will have the opportunity to speak with instructors and local employers about career pathways in various fields, including:
- 9-1-1 Telecommunications
- Criminal Justice (Detention & Law Enforcement)
- Emergency Medical Services
- Fire & Rescue
- Powerline Technicians
- Spanish Interpreters for Public Services
- Social & Human Services
We encourage all students interested in these careers to attend!
Questions & Answers
Please feel free to park in any of our marked parking lots! The event will begin in Building #1.
Yes, there is no cost associated with attending! We only ask that you please register in advance.
Program instructors and employers will be located in both buildings, allowing you to explore the entire Northern Durham Center. Please check in at the lobby of Building #1 for directions.
There is no age requirement for attending the fair. Programs and employers will be on-site to speak with students of all ages and inform them of any age restrictions for employment.
