Description
Please join us to learn about the nursing education programs at Durham Tech.
- Associate Degree Nursing (ADN)
- LPN-ADN Track
- Practical Nursing (PN)
At the information session, you'll learn the following:
- Program admissions requirements;
- Programs offered;
- Career and transfer possibilities and more!
- Q & A Session at the end
Registration will close 2 days before the session. Please note that recording or using a notetaker during the session is not allowed, as the attendee must be present. If you anticipate needing assistance, contact Director Bratton or Director Denise Walz at least two days before the session.
Log into the session at least 1 hour before the meeting start time to be sure the link works and to test your connectivity. When you log in, use the First Name and Last Name you used when you signed up so that we can verify your attendance.
Do not login into the session with any email addresses.

- When will I receive the meeting link?
The meeting link will be shared by email two days before the session. If you do not receive the meeting link before the session, please check your spam/junk folder
- Do I need a Microsoft Teams account to join the session?
No.
You do not need a Microsoft Teams account to join the meeting. You should be able to join online using your browser (Chrome or Safari). Please access Microsoft Teams at least 1 hour before the meeting start time to be sure the link works and to test your connectivity.
- Do I have to attend an information session?
Yes. Attendance at an information session is a requirement of the application process. Students applying to a nursing program must attend at least 90% of the session to be considered present.
- Am I able to ask questions during the session?
Yes, at the end of the presentation, you will be able to ask questions about the nursing programs and the admissions process. Come with your full attention as the presenters will share a lot of valuable information in a short time.
The sessions are not recorded, nor will the contents be emailed afterwards.We are not able to review transcripts in this session.

- How do you know I attended?
Attendance is verified through the Microsoft Teams electronic attendance record. Please ensure you sign in using the same first Name and last Name you used when registering for the mandatory information session. Allow 7–10 business days for staff to complete the attendance verification process.
Students must attend at least 90% of the session to be considered present. The presenter will announce the official start and end times of the information session.
No quiz will be administered or required.
