Restorative Dental Technology Information Session
Description
Interested in a career in dental laboratory technology? Join us for an information session to learn more about this exciting career field!
At the session, you will learn the following:
- What is a dental laboratory technician and where do they work;
- Salaries and certifications;
- General program information and plans of study;
- How to apply; and
- A photo tour of the labs
Information Sessions are usually scheduled on last Wednesdays of the Month at 6:00 pm, unless a holiday or break - via Microsoft Teams. Any sessions will be cancelled if no one shows by 6:15 pm.

- What meeting Platform are we using?
We are using Microsoft Teams
Please download this software before the meeting so that you can log in.
- Do I need a Camera or Mic?
No, you do not need a camera, but I would recommend a microphone in case you want to ask questions. Your phone can act as both since this software can be downloaded as an app on your phone as well.
There is a chat box option as well to ask questions.
- What kind of presentation will it be?
I will be showing you a Power Point presentation on what a dental lab technician is, about the career, and then about the DLT Program.
- Can I get a copy of the presentation?
I will email you a copy of the presentation after confirmation that you have attended the information session. I will not send the PDF version unless you attend the session.
- How do you take attendance?
Upon entering the Teams Meeting, your name will be displayed. Please make sure you use the name that you registered with.
- Spring 2026 Dates
Spring 2026 information session dates will be planned!
Generally information sessions are the last Wednesdays of the month at 6pm, via Teams - unless a holiday or other event would involve a need to reschedule.
