How do I attend?

You will receive a link to Microsoft Teams to attend this event. The link should go out the day of the event.

Do you offer virtual classes?

The AEMT course is the only current hybrid course. This will still require you to come to campus two nights a week. The hybrid options are 80% held on campus.

What are the pre-requisites for the class?

For AEMT you need:

• High school diploma or an awarded degree
• Transcript showing you have taken college-level English & math
• EMT-B certification
• CPR card with the AHA

For Paramedic you need:

• High school diploma or an awarded degree
• Transcript showing you have taken college-level English and math
• Transcript showing you have taken Anatomy & Physiology levels I & II (BIO 168 + 169, BIO 163, or EMS 3163 *or we can verify university equivalents)
• EMT-B certification
• CPR card with the AHA

All programs have a background check, drug test, and clinical documentation component that must be completed prior to registration. You will get the link to this service during the info session.

The paramedic program also includes an interview as part of your application. We will work with you to schedule the dates as they become available. The paramedic program is annual so we will begin accepting students for the next cohort when registration opens in the spring. The paramedic program starts every August.

When are the next classes?

AEMT course are held in the Sping (Janurary-May) and Fall (August-December). This course will be Monday and Wednesday nights from 5pm to 9pm with online work each week. A Capstone Internship will start at the end of class for a 3 month perod.

Paramedic course will be held once a year. This course will begin in August. Classes are held Monday, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8am to 5pm. The course will span a full year.
