Questions & Answers
- How do the wristbands work?
To receive a wristband and participate in the event, all attendees must check in at the registration tent using their Durham Tech ID number.
Wristbands are required for participation and engagement during Fall Fest.
With their wristband, students can enjoy:
- engaging with campus partners, clubs and organizations and campus resources that are tabling
- free food truck meals (first come, first served while supplies last)
- pay for meals at food trucks (meal tickets have limited redemption value; remaining balance or additional food can be paid for via cash, card, or other accepted payment method by vendor)
- free admission into the event
- free games, prizes, and other swag/incentives (e.g. personalized street signs) - Incentives offered are for students first as our primary audience
Students must abide by the Student Code of Conduct during check-in and throughout the event.
- What if I don't have my physical Durham Tech ID card?
You can provide your student ID number. Visit Self-Service to access your Durham Tech student information.
- Can I exchange my meal ticket?
No. Students may select one (1) meal ticket. What is selected is what you must stick with during the event.
Under no circumstances will tickets be exchanged or replaced.
- Can I get another meal ticket if I lose mine?
No. Students may select one (1) meal ticket. What is selected is what you must stick with during the event.
Meal tickets will not be replaced nor will they be exchanged under any circumstances.
- Am I guaranteed a meal ticket?
Meal tickets for compensated (free) meals from food trucks are for students only and first come, first served while supplies last.
Meal tickets are not unlimited, and cannot be received by someone on another person's behalf.
- Can I purchase food from the food trucks?
Yes.
Please note that meal tickets may have limited redemption value.
(For Example: A food truck may have a $10 limit for a meal ticket. If the meal a student wants costs $15, the student can redeem that meal for $10 and then the $5 difference must be paid by the student using cash, card, or other form of payment accepted by the vendor.)
Our food truck partners do accommodate walk-ups/on-site purchases using one of the payment methods mentioned above.
